Wilson twins and Wring get county recognition

A trio of the rejuvenated U17s squad have been called up for Somerset for the 22/23 county campaign. Chris and Andrew Wilson as well as Nat Wring faced Cornwall in Launceston last weekend and will continue to feature as the campaign coninues.

This is great reward for the U17s coaches and players in what has been a tough season, struggling for numbers until merging with the U16s this squad has gone strength to strength with several players already on the senior coaches radar for when they turn 18.

The Wilson boys are the youngest of the 4 brothers who have played for Clevedon. Both boys have been through the Bristol Bears Excel squad. They have committed to Clevedon for 12/13 years and in the past 2 years that Andrew has taken the captaincy. Over the years have become a strong front row.
Nat Wring like the Wilson boys join at the age of 5 has is one of the smallest players but also one of the strongest and has given 100% to the club. Nat played his part in the Bristol Bears academy.

Clevedon RFC are proud to have 3 players selected for the Somerset Squad.
