Clevedons own Macenzzie Duncan has been nominated for the
'McCrea Financial Services Warrior of the Month award' for Glasgow Warriors !
Macenzzie who played all his junior rugby at Clevedon from the mini section all the way through to the under 16s, then joined Bristol Academy and had a successful spell at Bristol making several senior appearances before making the move north to join Glasgow!

Macenzzie Duncan
Academy back-rower Duncan was another to impress on his outings across May, the Clevedon RFC product giving a glimpse into the future in the club’s outings over the month.
A physical performance in Glasgow Warriors U23’s win over Benetton earned the flanker a first-ever senior start for the club, making 16 tackles in a dynamic display away to Leinster at the Aviva Stadium.
Duncan then led from the front in attack and defence against Black Lion, before coming off the bench for the final 10 minutes against the DHL Stormers to make his first appearance in a knockout match in Glasgow colours.
Macenzzie Duncan made his professional debut in February 2025, coming off the bench in a 45-20 win over the Dragons at Rodney Parade.
His debut came at the third attempt, having previously been an unused substitute on two separate occasions in the BKT URC in narrow wins over Scarlets and Connacht at Scotstoun.
Duncan then made his first start for Glasgow Warriors in the final match of the 2024/25 regular season, impressing at blindside with a physical display against Leinster at the Aviva Stadium.
The back-rower represented Stirling Wolves in the FOSROC Super Series, as well as being included in the Scotland A squad that claimed victory over Chile in November 2024.
