Clevedon RFC – Supporting Mental Health Across Our Club
The LooseHeadz Foundation was created with the mission of placing a dedicated mental health lead - known as a LooseHead - in every rugby club across the country.
Clevedon RFC is proud to support this initiative and continues to encourage open, positive conversations around mental health, helping to break down stigma within our rugby community.
This season, Clevedon RFC is strengthening its commitment even further. Rachel Bassett has taken on the role of Mental Health Lead for the Club, bringing with her certified training and experience in supporting mental health, mentoring, safeguarding, autism and ADHD, alongside a wealth of lived experience. Rachel’s passion for wellbeing and inclusion ensures that our community has someone approachable, knowledgeable and ready to listen.
Our main aim for Clevedon RFC is to be the best club it can be - supportive, inclusive, and united, to check in with friends and your teammates and simply ask “are you ok?”.
