Clevedon RFC is proud to announce the addition of current Premiership player Joe Batley to its senior coaching team—a landmark moment for the club as it continues to build towards a bold and ambitious future.
Batley, who currently plays at the highest level of English rugby, brings a wealth of experience, professionalism, and character to the Clevedon setup. His arrival marks a significant step forward in the club’s commitment to developing players and enhancing its coaching standards.
“This is a massive signal of intent for Clevedon RFC,” said Director of Rugby Tony Dauncey. “Bat’s coming on board symbolises exactly where we want to go as a club. We are consistently looking to provide better coaching and facilities for all of our players and ensure they continue to develop.”
Known for his leadership on and off the pitch, Batley’s presence will complement the existing coaching team, working alongside the current coaching team to support Clevedon’s young and talented squad.
“As well as being a current Premiership player, Bats is a fantastic character who aligns with where we want our club to grow,” Dauncey added. “His partnership with Nick and Gillie in the senior coaching setup provides us with a team who can help our young squad achieve their potential.”
The club is excited to welcome Joe Batley and looks forward to the impact he will have across all levels of the senior programme.
