Clevedon Director of Rugby Tony Dauncey reflected on a ‘lacklustre’ performance despite his side cruising to a 24-3 victory over Avonmouth at Coleridge Vale.
Jack Crew’s double and further scores from Alfie Harrison and Brian Largenton sealed a bonus-point win for Clevedon, but Dauncey believes there is plenty of room for improvement from his side.
“We weren’t quite at the races today, but we’re obviously pleased to pick up all five points,” he said.
“It was a pretty scrappy and lacklustre performance and we know we’ll need to be a lot better in the upcoming games if we are to continue climbing the table.”
