On a rainy afternoon Clevedon played some exciting rugby. The new look Seasiders, with a host of youngsters on show, started well and the quality ball they craved for last week was there from the start as they dominated the breakdown and scored early on when winger Matt Fisher touched down in the corner. Clevedon moved further ahead when some superb support play was finished of by Harvey Russell, converted by Jordan Mein. From the restart Clevedon were penalised for a dangerous tackle and for the fourth week running found themselves with a man in the bin, this only seemed to galvanise them and after a period of determined defence the Seasiders scored again, when some good offloading saw Tyrell Fakoya score under the posts, converted by Mein. Moments later Clevedons pack, who were dominant all afternoon, scored an impressive push over try touched down by debutant Rob Holbrook. Just before the break Old B's, with a rare visit to the Clevedon half, were rewarded with a try of their own. Halftime Clevedon were 24-5 up.
The second half was much the same as Clevedon put the phases together and next on the score sheet was the lively Joe tucker converted by Mein. Minutes later a strong break from Charlie Tucker saw his pass finished by his brother Joe for his second try, converted by Mein. Further trys from the outstanding Adam Coles and Jack Crewe sealed the victory with Mein converting one.
Head Coach Nick Hill commented 'this was a much needed win and confidence booster - we made some changes in our line up and the lads responded well.
