On a damp and dismal at the Vale Clevedon took on Winscombe, unfortunately a losing bonus point was all Clevedon had to show after a disappointing afternoon. The sticky conditions at Coleridge were a leveler for both sides but is was the visitors who settled in the quickest and scored first and despite Clevedon scoring three unconverted try's it was momentary lapses in defence, concentration and failure to look after the ball that proved costly. The Seasiders scored two try's from the evergreen Albert Vailes, one in each half and a try from Matteo Fisher after a fabulous cross field kick from the young Arthur Coles but these where some of the only highlights in this game, the boys worked hard in the final few minutes to try and get the win but it was not to be !
Man of the match performance Rex Hervey. Head Coach Nick Hill commented ( we just have to keep working hard)
