Tough win against a fast and physical team

Training session started warming up the shoulders for tackling followed by working on set piece immediately after tackle. We had 11 players and opted for one game against Winscombes three teams. Winscombe were tackling fast and hard. Pitch was on an angle from try line to try line which helped the fast runners escape tacklers. We had a few people pulled up for high tackles, which we need to work on and we will also be looking to work on our space and support play. We were also caught out not playing to the whistle. Rosalie picked up our new TREDS award for her support play and teamwork. Player of the Week went to Ffion Who showed speed and footwork to evade Winscombe and score 3 tries in our first game.
